A. What is Experiential Training?

'Experiential' per se means 'by experiencing action and reflection'. Experiential learning is enjoyable as well as educative. It is a medium or tool by which practical knowledge and skills can be acquired which can be used in the workplace.

Experiential learning is a key driver of everything we do and a distinct point of difference in the marketplace.

Experiential learning fosters an environment of accelerated learning through self-discovery and participation. Because your investment in training must have an impact on business outcomes, we make it our priority to ensure that the principles taught are retained and applied on the job. Experience is a powerful teacher.

On the job it can be costly to learn from our mistakes, but in the classroom, this valuable learning methodology carries far less risk. That's what makes experiential learning so effective!

People Live Consultancy Modules - Professional Queries

All UDAAN programs are developed using the QI Model. Participants first engage in structured 'experiences' designed to accurately reflect situations in the workplace.

Following the experience, participants use reflective observation to identify what happened, what decisions they made and the results of these decisions. Given similar circumstances in the real world, they explore the likelihood that similar decisions would be made with similar consequences. This enables the participants to make permanent, effective changes in behavior by fully understanding the implications of their choices and accepting responsibility for them. Participants experience learning in shorter timeframe through doing the exercise and the extensive brief and debrief sessions moderated by the Chief Facilitator to drive the learnings home.

B. Why People Live?

The resource team at People Live Consulting has been actively involved in guiding and helping Professionals Bridge the gap between their potential and actual performance and what stops them from giving their 100%.

Our focus areas are Communication, Conflict Resolution, Team Building and Collaboration and Identifying Leaders for Tomorrow.

As Mr. Stephen Covey puts it, "Team building is fundamental, particularly in developing complementary teams where people's strengths are made productive and their weaknesses are made irrelevant by the strength of others".

The main objective is to instill the importance of working in a team by utilizing individual strengths.

C. What do we do?

Our customized corporate learning modules are a blend of class room and experiential, and aim to build skills that will unlock the employee potential. As they say, "experiencing is the best form of learning".

Our UDAAN training program has different exercises for different levels and verticals.

We do not believe in a 'one-size-fit-all' approach. Therefore for every program which could be half day, one day or two days, we collaborate with the process-owners to identify the learning needs and customize our programs accordingly.

D. What are the key deliverables?

During all our trainings, we emphasize on clear communication within teams, as everybody should be on the same page. Asking questions till you have a clear idea of the task is one deliverable which stands out besides the following which are acquired during the course of the workshop.

  • Importance of communication within teams
  • Importance of working in a team and utilizing the strengths of the team members in executing a task
  • Thinking out of the box to crack the solution
  • Importance of planning before execution of any task
  • Timely resolution of conflicts
  • Role of leadership

E. What is the experience and profile of the trainers?

At People Live, we bring on board experience of conducting over 50 workshops with different objectives for different levels to achieve a significant change in the mindset. In Experiential Learning, games are customized to suit the client's business objectives and it is NOT the games which impact the participants but the 'extensive' debrief sessions after the games by our professional facilitators which bring to fore several issues at work place including communication, collaborative management, conflict resolution and leadership.

"A playful frame of mind is the MOST creative frame of mind".
